On behalf of our faculty, staff, and administrators, welcome to Saddleback College.  If you are joining us this year, you will find what our current students know to be true:  At Saddleback, ensuring that our students feel welcome, that they know they are a part of a diverse community that embraces the importance of each student’s journey, is our priority.  Every employee of this college is dedicated to making you feel welcome and helping you be successful.

This year, as we transition to a “new and better normal” after many months of online learning and social distancing,  we are doubling down on our mission to help our students reach their destination – whether they are starting, continuing, or getting back to their higher education journey.  Even before the pandemic, Saddleback ranked first of all community colleges in the state in our online class offerings, and our online student success rates are higher than at most community colleges.  In our adapting to the pandemic, we’ve only gotten better at providing the highest quality  academic curriculum in an online setting, and we are looking forward to combining that with a mix of in-person and hybrid classes so that our students can choose a schedule that works best for them.

Perhaps more than ever, now is the time to take advantage of the support services that are offered to you at Saddleback.  Apply for financial aid. See a counselor to map your academic plan. Utilize the in-person and online services in our Student Health Center.  All of our services are here to help you get the resources you need to stay on your path, and starting this fall, they will be offered both in-person and online so that students can access services in the way that is most convenient for them.
