Welcome to Saddleback College!
Whether you are just starting out with us or are continuing your higher education journey, we are so happy you have chosen Saddleback. From your first visit to our campus (whether in-person or online), to the day you’ve accomplished your academic goals, our faculty, staff, and administration are dedicated to your success.
At Saddleback, you will find the vibrant college experience so many students seek. We urge you to take advantage of every opportunity offered to you. Choose a learning pathway and get to know a community of students and faculty who share your academic interests. Visit with a counselor to help map out your educational journey. Join or start a campus club. Brush up on what you learn in class at the tutoring center. At Saddleback, we offer so many opportunities to help you achieve your goals, because the success of your journey is as important to us as it is to you.
Even before the pandemic, when many colleges only started offering remote instruction, Saddleback ranked first of all community colleges in the state in our online class offerings, and our online student success rates were higher than at most community colleges. Since then, we’ve only gotten better at providing high quality instruction in an online setting. Moving forward, we will continue to find new ways of teaching so that our students are always getting the highest quality instruction available, whether they are taking classes on campus or prefer remote learning.
We wish you a very successful academic year ahead, and along the way, remember that you have more than 1,600 faculty, staff, and administrators in your cheering section!
