CDE 126 SCHOOL AGE AND ADOLESCENT DEVELOPMENT 3 Units 3 hours lecture Transfers: CSU An interdisciplinary study of the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional, development of middle and adolescent child development in a diverse society. Theoretical frameworks and various contexts in which development occurs will be covered including practical implications of family and peer relationships, learning and motivation, the impact of educational systems, moral and identity development, school and work experiences, and contemporary societal issues and influences.
