BIO 28 PLANTS AND HUMAN AFFAIRS 3 Units 3 hours lecture Transfers: CSU, UC Recommended Preparation: BIO 20 An introduction to the importance of plants and fungi, and their products, in the shaping of human affairs and civilization. The history of agriculture, the utilization of plant and fungal products, and current environmental and social issues surrounding agriculture, including genetic engineering will be covered.
