MUS 171 BASIC GUITAR

Studies basic techniques of the guitar. Emphasis will be on music fundamentals as it pertains to basic guitar techniques and the reading of music. Prepares students for further study in classical and/or jazz guitar (formerly MUS 260). Students are limited to a combined total of four enrollments in MUS 60, 61, 62, 171, and 173.
