CDE 113 MATH AND SCIENCE CURRICULUM EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Recommended Preparation: CDE 101, CDE 7 or CDE 7H, CDE 110, and eligibility for ENG 1A or 1AH
Presents an integrated approach to developmentally appropriate science and math curriculum in early childhood settings. Includes review of state and national resources and standards, best practices in environmental design and effective strategies for interactions and instruction, assessment and documentation. Experiences planned on observation of children’s abilities will be emphasized. Does not meet general education requirements in natural science or mathematics.
