An introductory Interior Design course covering design elements and principles and the design process as related to interiors. Evaluation of color theories, space planning, and building systems. The aesthetic and functional assessment of lighting, furnishings, materials, and accessories will be covered as well as the survey of the interior design profession, historical design, and special considerations for sustainability and accessibility.
