GEOG 1H HONORS PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY

Transfers: CSU, UC
Focuses on the basic physical elements of geography: Earth-sun relationships, weather, climate, landforms, soils, water and natural vegetation, and their integrated patterns of world distribution. The honors course is enriched by a smaller class size, allowing mentored individual research, the level of sources used in research, and presentation of research in a public poster session. Credit may be earned for 1 or 1H, but not both. Letter grade only.
