A comprehensive study of the effects of food production and consumption on sustainability and our environment. Achieving a healthy and sustainable food future is an urgent matter that depends on global collaborative efforts. Sustainable diets are protective and respectful of biodiversity and ecosystems, culturally acceptable, accessible, economically fair and affordable; nutritionally adequate, safe and healthy; while optimizing natural and human resources. Learn how to plan and develop sustainable diets: food patterns with low environmental impact that contribute to food and nutrition security and to healthy life for present and future generations.
