EECL 501 HUMAN ECOLOGY (EI)

Introduces students to the interactions of the human species with the natural world. Covers how human society depends upon natural resources and impacts the natural environment by consuming resources and introducing waste into the air, the water, and the soil. Human population dynamics, including older adult longevity and its impacts, will be analyzed in detail, as will the political, economic, and cultural context of human decision-making about the environment. Designed for the older adult.
