PSYC 1 INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY

An introduction to historical and contemporary psychological research and thought. Topics will include biological psychology, perception, consciousness, memory, language, problem solving, intelligence, emotions, personality, psychotherapy, social psychology, and development. Emphasis will be placed on the science of psychology and the ways psychological science has impacted our understanding of human nature as well as animal and human behavior. Credit may be earned for either PSYC 1 or 1H, but not both. C-ID: PSY 110
