Continue to deepen understanding of vocal production and acquire additional tools for gaining mastery of the physical means of voice production. Practice exercises for centering the breath and body, locating and releasing tension, exploring pitch, tone, and range, developing a free and responsive voice. Solidify understanding of the International Phonetic Alphabet and use it for working with both classical texts and poems, as well as development of at least one foreign and one regional American accent.
